06 Days Nepal Experience

HMT 01: 06 Days Nepal Experience

Day01 : Arrival/Kathmandu
Upon arrival, our representative shall meet you and you’ll be transferred to the Hotel. Enjoy the day at leisure.
Day02 : Kathmandu/Swayambhunath/Patan
After breakfast, you’ll start your tour visiting Swayambhunath temple, which is said to be a 2000 years old stupa on a hillock that offers a breathtaking view of Kathmandu city. You will then proceed to visit Kathmandu city and its ancient Durbar Square which is full of historical monuments and temples. After lunch you’ll visit Patan (Lalitpur) city, which is the oldest of the three major cities in Kathmandu Valley- famous for its Buddhist monuments and Hindu temples and you can catch a glimpse of the traditional artisan working with the wood, stone and metals. We then proceed to visit the Tibetan Resettlement Camp where you can see spinning, dyeing and the weaving of Tibetan and Nepalese carpet by the Tibetan refugees.
Day03 : Pashupatinath/Bouddhanath/Dhulikhel
After breakfast, you’ll visit Pashupatinath temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine and Boudhanath Stupa, which is one of the world’s largest stupa (Buddhist shrine) also known as little Tibet. After lunch we will proceed for excursion to Dhulikhel, a small ancient Newar town famous for its spectacular view of the mountains and landscape. You can enjoy overnight stay viewing the sunset at Dhulikhel.
Day04 : Dhulikhel/Bhaktapur/Kathmandu
You can enjoy the spectacular sunrise and the Himalayan range while you are taking breakfast at the Hotel. You’ll then proceed to visit the second largest of the three major cities in Kathmandu valley known as Bhaktapur formerly called Bhadgaon and is famous for traditional craft center. Then you’ll drive to Kathmandu. After Lunch you’ll be visiting Changunarayan Temple on a hillock which offers a wonderful view of Kathmandu Valley and of course of Bhaktapur city and its sorroundings. Then you will drive back to Kathmandu for the overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day05 : Sankhu/Bajra Yogini
After breakfast at the hotel you’ll visit Sankhu which is a sleepy town. Beneath the Gum Bihar religious complex there is the temple of Bajra Yogini. The area has been an important religious site since the 4th century and has excellent nature and bird-life as well as charming monkeys with lot of pigeons in the temple area. After lunch you’ll have free time for your personal activities.
Day06 : Departure/Transfer
After breakfast at the Hotel, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure.

HMT 02 : 8 Days Nepal Spotlight

Day01 : Arrival/Kathmandu

Day03 : Kathmandu/Chitwan
After breakfast you’ll depart from Kathmandu to begin a scenic drive for about 4 hours to reach Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival you will check in at your hotel. After lunch you’ll start some of your activities. Dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge.
Day04 : At Chitwan National Park
The Royal Chitwan National Park (960 sq. kms) formally a royal hunting reserve lies in the lowland of Terai zone of southern Nepal. Today you’ll be visiting Tharu Villages around Chitwan thereafter followed by elephant safari through the jungle and a canoe ride on Rapti river viewing the crocodile and different birds on the riverbank. In the evening you’ll enjoy the Tharu cultural program.
Day05 : Chitwan/Pokhara
After breakfast, depart in the morning by coach to Pokhara. This lakeside village offers a front row view to one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurna and the famous “Fishtail” mountain peak of Machhapuchhre tower over the tropical setting of Pokhara. You’ll have H/D sightseeing tour of Pokhara city visiting Seti gorge, “Patale Chaango” known as David fall and Bindhyabasini Temple. You’ll then proceed for an hour boating on the Fewa Lake.
Day06 : Sarangkot/Kathmandu/Dhulikhel
This morning you’ll rise early to view the sunrise and the spectacular view of the Himalayan range and the landscape of Pokhara Valley after an hour drive and 45 minutes of hiking the hillock of Sarangkot. After breakfast ath the hotel you’ll drive back to Kathmandu and then proceed to Dhulikhel which offers a wonderful view of the Himalayan range for an overnight stay.
Day07 : Dhulikhel/Banepa/Panauti
After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll visit Dhulikhel, a small Newar town with some of the Hindu temples and then proceed to visit Panauti, another small and beautiful Newar town with some of the Hindu temples and then proceed to visit Panauti, another small and a beautiful Newar torn which lies in the bank of two rivers, Rosi and Punyamati. Enroute stop for lunch and proceed to visit the second largest of the three major cities of the Kathmandu Calley known as BHaktapur, formerly Bhadgaon and is famed as a traditional craft center. You’ll then drive back to Kathmandu. In the evening you’ll be taken to Banchhaghar restaurant for Nepalese dinner and cultural dance.
Day08 : Departure/Transfer
After breakfast on time you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure.

Alternating between stretches of tranquil floating and thrilling white water rapids, the raft trip will end after 3 to 4 hours at the village of Kuringhat. Our coach awaits you to drive into the Royal Chitwan National Park. Overnight stay at the Jungle Lodge.
Day 04 : At Chitwan National Park
The Royal National Park (960 sq. kms) formally a royal hunting reserve lies in the lowland of Terai Zone of Southern Nepal. Today we’ll take you to Tharu villages around Chitwan there after followed by the elephant back safari through the jungle and canoe ride on Rapti River. You’ll also be enjoying the other activities such as Bird watching local cultural dance etc.
Day 05 : Chitwan/Pokhara
After breakfast, you’ll have a scenic drive to Pokhara for about 3 hours, upon arrical check in at the hotel. After refreshing you’ll havbe lunch and then proceed to visit Pokhara city which is also called the “Magic Land” or “Dream Land” of Nepal, David’s fall, Seti gorge and Bindhyabasini temple including an hours of boating at the Fewa lake which overlooks the region of Annapurna range of the Himalayas.
Day06 : Pokhara/Birethati/Ghandrung
After breakfast you’ll be transferred by coach to Nayapul (Birethati) which is at 1563 m. we will stop for lunch at Birethati, from where you start your trekking to Ghandrung (1951 m) which would take approx 5 hours.
Day 07: Ghandrung/Tolkha
After breakfast, you’ll start your trek to Tolkha which takes about approx 5 hours. On the way you’ll stop for lunch at Landrung. Dinner and evernight stay atTolkha.
Day 08 : Tolkha/Dhampus
After breakfast, trek to Dhampus (1620 m) which takes approx 4 hours. On the way we stop for lunch at Pothana. Dinner and overnight at Dhampus.
Day 09 : Dhampus/Phedi/Pokhara After breakfast, trek to Phedi which takes approx 2 hours. At Phedi our coach will be waiting to take you to Pokhara. After lunch you’ll have fee time in Pokhara.
Day 10 : Pokhara/Kathmandu
After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu
Day 11 : Pashupatinath Temple/ Bouddhanath Stupa
After breakfast, you’ll visit Pashupatinath temple, Nepal’s holiest Hindu shrine and Boudhanath Stupa, which is one of the world’s largest stupa (Buddhist shrine) also known as little Tibet. After early breakfast, drive to Nayapul and commence trek to Illeri(2073 m) approx 6 hours, en route stop for lunch at Tirkhedhunga (1577 m). Dinner and overnight at Ulleri.
Day 07 : Ulleri/Ghorepani
After breakfast trek to Ghorepani (2315 m) which takes approx 6 hours, en route stop for lunch at Banthati. Dinner and overnight at Ghorepani.
Day 08 : Ghorepani/Punhill/Ghorepani/Tadapani
You rise early to go to Punhill approx 45 minutes from Ghorepani from where can see the beautiful sunrise ob Himalayan Range. You’ll then come back to Ghorepani, take your breakfast and continue your trek to Tadapani, en route stop for lunch. Dinner and overnight at Tadapani.
Day 09 : Tadapani/Ghandrung
After breakfast trek to Ghandrung (1951 m) approx 4 hours even though it is a short trek you will enjoy your stay at Ghandrung.
Day 10 : Ghandrung/Pothana
After breakfast you’ll trek to Pothana (1620 m) which takes about approx 6 hours, en route stop fpr lunch at Landrung. Dinner and overnight at Pothana.
Day 11 : Pothana/Fedi/Pokhara
After breakfast, trek to Fedi which takes about approx 3 hours where our coach awaits you to drive to Pokhara. You’ll have afternoon free in Pokhara.
Day 12 : Pokhara/Kathmandu
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival you’ll have free time in Kathmandu.

Day 03 : Kathmandu/Lukla/Phakding
After breakfast, you’ll fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2800 m) for about 40 minutes. You’ll have lunch while our equipment’s are sorted out and loaded. You’ll then take an easy walk to Phakding where you will have dinner and for the overnight stay.
Day 04 : Phakding/Joresalee
As easy day begin to help for acclimaticzation. This is a busy trailwith plenty of human interest. There are also tantalizing glimpses of Kusum Kangru (6396 m) through the beatiuful pine forest. We will stay overnight at Joresalee (2800 m).
Day 05 : Joresalee/Namche Bazar
Not a long day bit a hard [pulls up to arricvefor an early lunch. We have our first view of Everest (8848 m) and Naputse (7879 m). We stay overnight at the heart of the villageand have the rest of the day to enjoy the splendid Sherpa hospitality.
Day 06 : Namche Bazar
Rest and acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar (3444 m). We enjoy rest of day here to allow for mazimum acclimatization on our way to Everest Base Camp. A pleasant day can be spent exploring the village, talking to Sherpas and somply enjoying and marveling at the incredible scenery.
Day 07 : Namche Bazar/Thyangboche
We’ll walk aling a very pleasant trail under the soaring peak to Thamserku and steadily descending to the Imja River and have lunch at Phunki. In the afternoon, we climb steadily for about 2 hours to Thyangboche Monastery (3875 m). the views from here is magnificient being one of the most beautiful spot of the world. We have our dinner and stay overnight.
Day 08 : At Thyangboche
This is a day to relax and acclimatization at Thyangboche where you can enjoy the magnificient scenery where you are surrounded by Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse and Taboche (6367 m).
Day 09 : Thyangboche/Dingboche
We move up the Imja River valley to Pangboche (3900 m). We stop here for lunch and visit the Monastery and observe the “Yeti Sculp”. In the afternoon, we continue on to the summer village of Dingboche (4360 m). The scenery viewed all day is splendid.
Day 10 : At Dingboche
Another rest and acclimatization day at Dingboche. This day should give you a good opportunity of ascending Kala Pathar, the Base Camp of Everest. From this Yak herders village, there are number of interesting excursion such as Chukung (4700 m), approx. 2 hours from where it take to the glaciers flowing off Nuptse and Lhotse. We stay overnight at the foot of Amadablam.
Day 11 : Dingboche/Lobuje
We walk up a small bridge and then contour round the base of the Khumbu glacier and have light lunch at Dhungla (4600 m). From this place we have a short steep climb to the terminal moraine of the glacier from where the views are spectacular. We contour round the moraine and stay overnight at the foot of Lobuje ice fall (4930 m).
Day 12 : Lobuje/Kala Pathar/Lobuje
Today, we climb Kala Pathar. The actual distance is not so far but we take it very slowly to compensate for the altitude, stopping at Gorek Shep(5288 m) for a light lunch. We then take the climb to Kala Pathar (5545 m). This is a hard pull but the view from the top surpasses anything you can imagine. All around us flow huge are ice glaciers. The mountain of Pumori (7145 m), Lingtren (6697 m) and Khumbutse (6623 m) separate us from Tibet, and just over the Lho La pass we see the huge rock of Changtse (7550 m) in Tibet itself and the queen of them all – Sagarmatha (Everest) Roof of the World. We’ll then return to Lobuje for overnight stay.
Day 13 : Lobuje/Thyangboche
We retrace our steps along the glacier to Pheriche (4260 m) and stop for lunch. In the afternoon we take the lower trail to Pangboche and Thangboche.
Day 14 : Thyangboche/Khumjung
Descending to Imja rover, we climb to Khumjung. After lunch enjoying the excellent view we stay overnight there.
Day 15 : Khumjung/Phakding
Descending, pass through Namche Bazar which is under the Kongde ridge (6186 m) and follow the Dudh Kosi River to Phakding.
Day 16 : Phakding/Lukla
We walk back to Lukla and enjoy a farewell with our Sherpa crew.
Day 17 : Lukla/Kathmandu
After breakfast, on time we will fly back to Kathmandu. You’ll have a free afternoon in Kathmandu for your personal activities. In the evening you’ll be transferred to Banchhaghar restaurant for farewell Nepalese dinner and cultural dance.
Day 18 : Departure/Transfer
After breakfast at hotel, on time you’ll be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
